SUMMARY The HR Compliance Specialist is responsible for identifying all applicable California employment compliance obligations, implementing all projects and initiatives related to California employment practices compliance, and auditing those programs once implemented. This individual is also responsible for researching emerging California compliance issues, collecting, analyzing, and tracking compliance-related data for management review as it relates to payroll, wage and hour requirements, employment laws, and other HR related activities. The specialist will work to ensure company policies, procedures, and practices comply with federal and California state employment laws. **The ideal candidate will reside in California. This position is remote with travel to Orange County and Los Angeles. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
