Position: Machine Operator

Location: Fremont, IN

Starting Pay: $18.00 hourly +$2.00 differential pay

Schedule: 2nd shift, 3:00pm-11:30pm

Summary:

With little or no supervision, sets-up the proper form tooling needed in the inline thermoforming machines and operates the machines per job specifications to maintain continuous production.

General Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sets up designated inline thermoforming machines per job specifications
  • Sets up designated offline presses per job specifications
  • Engages thermoforming machines and presses to produce parts and to maintain continuous operation
  • Performs troubleshooting and quality checks
  • Performs routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Works with Floor Workers to resolve any quality issues as needed
  • Retrieves and moves materials; including work in-process, raw material and tooling
  • Makes boxes and completes finished goods packaging per specification
  • Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area
  • Performs other work duties or functions as assigned



Physical and Visual Activities/Demands:

  • Standing, walking, bending, reaching, reading, writing and talking
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds



JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to continuously lift, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day
  • Good vision and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good manual dexterity and agility



Experience

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year previous production line experience preferred
