This position is 100% remote within the United States. This role will only consider W2 candidates and not C2C candidates. Job Summary HS1 is seeking a dynamic Performance Engineering coach to help champion best practices within our Engineering team. This individual will work with cross functional teams to assess and understand the applications, architecture and usage. Based on the information gathered, you will put together an on-going shift-left performance engineering practice to improve application performance efficiency much earlier in the iteration. The Performance Engineer is also expected to collaborate with product architects during the requirements analysis phase of the SDLC and encourage conversations regarding NFRs, SLO, SLI, and SLAs. You should be able to provide recommendations and implementation strategy based on SRE practices for the available technology stack and infrastructure to meet the objectives and are expected to drive the initiatives across product development to improve the performance, monitoring of the products for every release. Qualifications Must have
The posted range for this position is $96,048 to $168,084 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a 10% bonus not reflected in the posted range.
