Regional Lead, Real Estate & Lease Payables

Job Responsibilities:



  • Provide quality customer service for lessor's inquiries, situations and disputes.
  • Work with a cross- functional, remote team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of lease payable obligations.
  • Manage, monitor and report monthly on the progress of lease terminations, lease payments, increases and renewals.
  • Prepare and review all percentage lease reports and payments on a monthly basis for accuracy against Percentage cash requirement reports provided from SSC. Prepare and send letters and Lease Percentage reports (statement) to lessors.
  • Prepare and analyze yearly real estate budget and monthly forecasts, assist Finance in variance reports and track Site Lease Expense.
  • Generate market and regional standard and adhoc reports
  • Provide administrative support to real estate team by routing calls, managing documentation and system records, payment information and contact information.
  • Train and coach regional team members in systems and procedures
  • Assist in process improvement in the real estate reporting and payment workstream.
  • Attend weekly market meetings as needed
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.


Job Qualifications:

Education & Certifications



  • High School Degree or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.



Work Experience



  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a related field
  • Experience in accounts payable function at mid to large size business is preferred.
  • Publicly traded company and/or Commercial property management experience are a plus.
  • Real Estate or property management accounting a plus.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience leading and directing teams is preferred.



Skills



  • Experience with various software, programs and systems and demonstrated ability to learn and master programs and systems (e.g., Quattro and others).
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.).
  • Strong organizational / time management skills acute attention to detail.
