This role is responsible for working with service area strategy leads, service line leaders, executives, operational leaders and others to provide analytical services such as general strategic information to include, but not limited to: market share, service line specific analytical information, requirement analysis, competitor analysis, state-related data support, etc. This role is also responsible for producing, validating and submitting all contractually required reports. Serves as a subject matter expert and thought leader to contribute to health plan utilization management reporting and strategy for the organization. Responsible for all reports and data transfers to the Department of Defense and its contractors. This role will also provide strategic planning assistance for various data analytics, reporting, and technical roadmaps.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance, Information systems, or related field.
  • 6 years of related experience including gathering, analyzing, and reporting data for a wide range of internal customers in various organizational areas.
  • 5 years of proven experience managing projects.
  • 2 years of direct leadership experience.
  • 5 years of demonstrated expertise with complex data structures, including independent mining and data exploration, and utilizing business intelligence and data visualization software required (e.g. Tableau, SAP, Business Objects/Crystal Reports, Oracle BI EE, Toad, and MS SQLServer).


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Professional experience as a Clinical Analyst, including registries, Database Administrator and/or Planning Analyst or equivalent in a medium to large sized acute care hospital or health system.
  • Experience with Access and reporting from a warehouse type database.
  • Experience with HEDIS reporting desired.
  • Experience with GE/Centricity/IDX healthcare software application desired.
