Tampa, FL - Filling medical - Healthcare How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Retest is responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, and refurbishing cylinders in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and meeting the standard operating procedures of Airgas. This includes painting cylinders, valve/de-valve cylinders, repair and maintenance of equipment, general cylinder movement, inventory and handling throughout the plant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Safety and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Demonstrates and aligns with Airgas Safety Pledge and 12 Life Saving Rules.

  • Exemplifies, promotes and develops safe work behaviors.

  • Ensures all applicable regulatory (OSHA, FDA, DOT, EPA) requirements are met and applicable training and recordkeeping is performed to meet departmental and location deadlines.

  • Maintains compliance with all Specialty, Medical and Food Gas Standard Operating Procedures, SMS and ISO requirements and any and all associated paperwork.

Essential Functions:

  • Move cylinders with proper carts and handling techniques.

  • Rolls cylinders and operates a forklift truck for the movement of cylinders.

  • Loads and unloads cylinders and/or other products onto and off of route trucks and trailers moving cylinders with proper carts.

  • Repair cylinders using proper SOPs, using proper tools and personal protective equipment.

  • Responsible for personal safety and health ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Ensures all safety rules are strictly observed and any accidents or injuries are promptly reported to management.

  • Responsible for punctuality and complying with hourly work schedules.
