Position Type:Permanent Full Time/Part Time:Full Time

Open Until Filled.

$22.05 to $24.26 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area/Cocoa/Central Disposal Facility/Travels Countywide. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Performs skilled crafts and trades work in the general maintenance and repair of the mechanical and power-driven equipment used in solid waste plants, transfer stations, and/or lift stations.

REQUIREMENTS:Four (4) years of experience in the mechanical repair and maintenance of industrial power-driven mechanical equipment. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's license with no airbrake restrictions and maintain said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
