OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. JOB TITLE: Morning Newscast Anchor
FOX6 News has a unique opportunity for a Morning News Anchor who has a knack for engaging the audience and presenting breaking news with authority and a bit of charm. As part of the WakeUp team, you will not be taking on a traditional role. You'll be breaking stories and delivering impactful stories that our community relies on. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will drive the delivery of fresh local, regional and national news content on-air and online. You will research, create and present engaging stories that resonate with our audience. You will collaborate with newsroom staff to produce informative news segments. You will be energetic with an approachable on-air presence that makes mornings enjoyable for our viewers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
You'll need a minimum of three years anchoring experience - preferably on a morning newscast. You must have excellent journalistic instincts, a passion for news and a high commitment to journalistic standards. Having an expertise in leveraging online and social media in news gathering and story development is a must. Journalism degree or a closely related degree is preferred. And finally, being a morning person is required!!
