The basics of this position:

This position is responsible for monitoring the STLCC fitness areas on either the Florissant Valley, Forest Park, and/or Meramec campuses. Individuals holding this position are responsible for providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all users; with the ability to solve on-the-job issues and provide excellent customer service when assisting patrons.

What you'll do:



  • Provide customer service through checking-in and interacting with patrons, providing basic guidance on how to use equipment, assisting with spotting, and answering questions.
    Ensure the fitness areas remain clean and organized; organize dumbbells, weight plates, and bars. Disinfect and clean equipment.
    Actively supervise the fitness areas; identify and report maintenance needs and safety concerns.
    * Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
    * Perform opening/closing procedures of the fitness areas.
    * Attend meetings and trainings as needed.
    * Assist with other duties as assigned.


Education, experience, and other requirements:

High School Graduate or equivalent.
Ability to lift and carry up to 45lbs for short distances.
