Primary Responsibilities This position will work as a key member of a highway/roadway design team for moderate to large projects and work independently on smaller projects. In the role of Transportation Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
- Plan, and manage, and track all aspects of small to medium multi-discipline projects
- Independently coordinate work of other professionals
- Coordinate team throughout entire project's development
- Establish client relations and assist contractual, planning, design and construction meetings
- Participate in reviews with various disciplines and governing agencies
- Conduct work sessions for design development and contract execution
- Coordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule and within budget
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure work is completed within agreed-to parameters
- Work with Business/Accounting Leadership for project reviews
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineering License, AICP Planning Certification, or ability to obtain
- PMP certification
- Experience managing projects for DOT or Municipality
- Willingness to work full time on-site and Client or Project Offices
- Familiarity with Microstation, Open Roads, Geopak and/or Inroads, or similar

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 7 years related experience
- A minimum of 2 years project management experience
- Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
