Project Duration: 24 months

Initiate the procurement process of assigned areas and commodities to make available materials, supplies and services that the organization requires in its operation. Other related duties not specifically mentioned may also be performed depending on operational needs.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's or equivalent experience in a related field. At least 4 years college coursework in Merchandising or Business (Required)

Minimum Work Experience
3 years Related and progressive experience (Required)

Functional Accountabilities
Ensure availability of supplies as expected

• Examine and evaluate purchase requisition prior to processing; assess the need of departments; process purchase orders, follow up on back orders and other staff inquiries promptly .

Achieve cost savings for designated assigned areas/stock items and commodities

• Familiarize with various data collection tools to identify cost saving for supplies or services.

Data analysis of proposals and bidding documents for contract award

• Review, analyze proposals and provide recommendations prior to contract awarding.

Maintain good vendor relations serving as a liaison and resource to hospital staff

• Act as a liaison between vendors, manufacturer representatives to make resources available to hospital staff.

• Continuously validate and verify information needed for decision making or documentation

• Stop in the face of uncertainty and takes time to resolve the situation
