Summary / Position Purpose:

The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for Entry and Processing of customer's purchase orders within the set policies and guidelines.

**Interested candidates can reside near or around the following: Corona, CA; Westminster, CO; Sarasota, FL; Schaumberg, IL; Rogers, MN; Wilmington, NC; Lincoln, RI; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:



  • Sales order entry
  • Work with the Accounting department to establish or revise terms per customer requests
  • Ensure orders on credit hold are reviewed and released in a timely manner
  • Work with the Shipping department to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner and, in accordance to requested shipping method
  • Ensure each order contains correct promotions and rebate codes
  • Review backlog twice weekly to ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Open service orders for new/used/rental units prior to shipping
  • Perform warehouse transfers


Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associates/ Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, but not required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • 3-5 years of experience in either customer service or purchasing/order processing
  • Knowledge of export control and law preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and research skills, ability to multi-task
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment, and positive attitude



Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
