Responsibilities

Arcfield is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team to supporting the Sponsor Front Office-level by analyzing, recommending, and optimizing operational strategies. The candidate will engage in a diverse set of tasks covering a broad set of consulting capabilities, apply a variety of analytical, problem solving, and reporting skills and techniques to both standard and unique business processes. Additionally, the candidate will document and evaluate business processes and make process improvement recommendations, produce a variety of communications including executive briefings.

This is a part-time position. Therefore, the candidate may also perform other duties, if suitably qualified.

  • Assess and provide recommendations to optimize the Sponsor and corporate strategies by leveraging organizational knowledge, reviewing business-related data, and using comprehensive data analysis skills, research and recommend new analytic practices.
  • Assist in developing, enhancing, and maintenance of capturing cost and/or pricing data, and cost recovery activities across organizations by analyzing:
    • Service descriptions.
    • Cost and pricing models.
    • Billing policies.
    • Cost recovery processes.
  • Compile and analyze cost data and provide status of life-cycle cost estimates.
  • Support Sponsor annual Pricing Assessment exercise, including:
    • Assemble financial information from Sponsor Leadership and Mission Partners.
    • Assess financial data based on the ABC pricing model.
    • Facilitate Pricing Assessment meetings with Sponsor Leadership.
    • Report on financial analysis through cost-benefit analysis; provide recommendations.
  • Coordinate with the Sponsor's Finance team to assess and strategically allocate budget resources such as:
    • Use business modeling analysis to assess fiscal standings and forecasting.
    • Perform cost-benefit analysis to address long-term strategic decisions.
    • Provide life-cycle cost estimation to support fiscal evaluations.
  • Prepare and report organizational performance metrics, analytic findings, and trends. Present reports using presentation applications and/or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, or Microsoft PowerBI) that display operational status, efficiency levels, and trend lines.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • A bachelor's degree in a business discipline - Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, etc.
  • Five (5) years of experience providing business analytical support; forecasting, cost/benefit analysis, data analysis, process modeling, comparative and variance analysis, planning and monitoring, and risk analysis.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, Finance, Systems Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
  • Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and practices and GSA Accounting Policies.
  • Experience providing cost analysis using the Activity-Based Costing (ABC) model.
  • Three (3) years of experience supporting project activities for the Sponsor.
  • Experience using data visualization tools; Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience working with Sponsor's Working Capital Fund processes.
