What you'll do:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Cycle Counter to join our manufacturing team. The Inventory Cycle Counter will be responsible for accurately counting and reconciling inventory levels within our manufacturing facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items in various locations within the manufacturing facility.
  • Accurately record inventory counts using designated inventory management software or tools.
  • Perform recounts as directed by Inventory supervisor/Analysts if counts do not align with the system.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions.
  • Identify and report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages to management.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in inventory audits and physical inventory counts as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to inventory management and security.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Inventory Control Supervisor or management.

What you need to be successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or cycle counting preferred.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.
  • Forklift certification (preferred but not required).
