EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: What You'll Need: Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a related field meeting the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements. Completion of an AND-approved four-year Baccalaureate degree program and an AND-accredited advanced training program is required. Master's degree or Advanced Practice Certification is a plus! A strong foundation in chemistry, physiology, caloric and nutrient values, and the physical properties of food, along with a solid understanding of medical nutrition therapy. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to use and understand medical terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and strong computer skills. A passion for nutrition and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Certification/Licensure: Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
