Responsibilities

The Scrum Master has the primary role to act as the servant leader for one or more delivery teams within the organization. Responsibilities include protecting delivery teams from outside interference, removing impediments, facilitating Scrum rituals, and promoting healthy Agile principles. Acts as an advocate of Agile within the team and excels at gaining acceptance and adoption of change.



Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited university required,
  • Three years of experience as a Scrum Master for a product delivery team required.
  • Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master certification required.
  • Other related Agile certifications preferred (e.g. Certified Scrum Developer, Certified Product Owner, Certified Scrum Professional, Certified Scrum Trainer.)
  • Extensive knowledge of other Agile approaches such as XP and Kanban.
  • Knowledge with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing.
  • Computer knowledge utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must demonstrate superior communication/interpersonal skills and outstanding organizational skills, exercise exceptional independent judgment, effectively prioritize work, and maintain strict confidentiality.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to sit/view computer monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
  • Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
  • Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

Work Environment

  • This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations.
  • Sedentary role.
