Posting Date:09/25/24 What your job will be like: As aStudent Intern in our Engineering Division, youwill work year-round during the semester,under the direction of an experienced engineer to accomplish a project that furthers the goals of Jefferson Lab. The project will vary depending on the Lab's needs and the students' interests. Engineering projects at Jefferson Lab may involve electro-magnets, SRF cryomodules, beam transport elements, cryogenic systems, vacuum systems, and more. The work involves some of the following disciplines: structural analysis, cryogenics, SRF systems, control systems, heat transfer, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and vacuum systems. This position allows the student to work up to 20 hours while in school. There is also an opportunity to work full-time hours during breaks and summers. In this role, you will:
