Treasury Management Client and Operations Specialist

Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for covering a variety of job duties which requires expertise for multiple positions. You'll provide coverage for the: TM Sales Analyst, Onboarding, Client, Service, Senior Service, and Lockbox Specialists. You'll also interact with Treasury sales staff, Product Management, Service, Project, Billing, Onboarding, and Training Specialists to ensure a high level of customer service and delivery to all customers - internal and external.

A Day in the life:

  • Answer phone calls, emails and Secure Messages from Commercial and Business clients and internal employees in regard to Treasury Management products and services.

  • Provide step-by-step technical instruction and support to client admins and users.

  • Trouble shoot complex client system issues.

  • Complete or review daily DACA transfers and Wires.

  • Create and obtain approval for temporary ACH, Wire, RDC, Mobile Deposit limits.

  • Create paperwork or Bankpoint cases for client and users changes.

  • Install and assist with difficult installations of scanner drivers for RDC clients.

  • Review ACH file processing through PIM, FED, Channel Audit, and Scheduled Events.

  • Set up new clients, administrators, and users on Commercial and Small Business Center.

  • Facilitate changes to Commercial and Small Business Center clients and users received through Bankpoint, TM New Business email or other means.

  • Coordinate the setup of Single Sign On products such as Lockbox, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, and Bill Payment.

  • Set up sweeps and work with Loan Servicing on loan sweeps.

  • Add analysis fees to Premier. Communicate with TM Billing on fees and pricing.

  • Send out admin and user credentials to all Commercial Center and Small Business Center admins and users.

Client Training:

  • Create and maintain Bankpoint training cases for each new Commercial Client.

  • Create individual training plans for each client based on products and client business needs.

  • Serve as the central point of contact for the client and admins throughout the training process.

  • Complete post training follow up calls to determine if additional training is needed.

  • Handhold clients for the first 30 days to ensure banking needs are met.

  • Demo products to potential clients for Sales Officers.

  • Sort, open, prepare and deposit Lockbox checks and invoices including but not limited to: payee verification, foreign and Canadian item identification, restrictive check notations, match and compare acceptable payees.

  • Review special instructions given by clients and determine the appropriate item handling.

  • Review and analyze rejected checks to make next-step decisions - determine if items will be processed or returned to client.

  • Scan documentation and upload files to a web based cloud (TMR).

  • Enter daily lockbox totals into excel spreadsheet.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as HIPAA standards.

  • Secure, maintain, and schedule destruction of deposited checks and scanned documentation

Sales Analyst:

  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the implementation process for new and existing clients through Bankpoint.

  • Support Sales Officers in the gathering of information, drafting, and completion of the new client agreements and authorizations.

  • Serve as a point of contact for the client during the implementation process.

  • Create and send agreements and necessary documents to the client for signature.

  • Complete follow up on agreements and not received.

  • Track and log new clients and changes in Bankpoint.

  • Communicate progress and provide weekly updates to management on completed and outstanding Bankpoint cases.

Other Duties:

  • Crosstrain in other areas of TM.

  • Adhere to internal and external policies and procedures of the bank.

  • Assist management with product training for TM employees.

  • Assist with department Special projects and new product implementation and testing.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role you'll need:

  • High school diploma or Bachelor's Degree.

  • Two to four years of related work experience.

  • Bank operations and/ or Treasury Management experience required.

  • In-depth knowledge of Treasury Management products and services.

  • AAP or CTP Certification a Plus.

Additional skills and abilities we're seeking:

  • Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent Customer Service skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and good planning and organization skills.

  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Technical expertise is preferred.
