Sentara Community Care Center - Chestnut is now hiring a Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor in Newport News, VA!

At Sentara Community Care, the Licensed Professional Counselor provides individual, group, and/or family therapy; provides staff consultation, and education. This is an on-site position in a community health-based open clinic where we see various types of patients.

Hours: Mon., Tue. (8a-5p), Wed, Thurs. (8a-6p), Fri. (8a-2p)

*Additional evening and weekend hours may be required for community events. **

Qualifications:

  • Current Virginia state licensure Licensed Professional Counselor required
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling or mental health nursing from an appropriately accredited college or university required.
  • Minimum of one years in respective field.

Job Summary

Master's degree in social work, counseling or mental health nursing from an appropriately accredited college or university required. Minimum of three years in respective field. Current Virginia state licensure Licensed Professional Counselor required. Current HS AED Certification.
