Job Summary:G+D is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL on second shift working Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30PM. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment and systems. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the production of high-quality security solutions that protect our customers' essential values. Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of production equipment.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance of all production equipment.
• Set up equipment in coordination with the production shift supervisor, aligning with the production schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety and employee conduct rules, promoting a clean and hazard-free workspace.
• Participate in plant safety/housekeeping guidelines.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with ISO standards.
• Maintain adequate spare parts inventory levels.
• Foster continuous improvement concepts within the team.
• Train colleagues as necessary.
• Report all unresolved issues to the manager.

Key Qualifications:

• Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical machinery.
• Profound understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, conveyors, compressors, rollers & chains, bearings, and hydraulics.
• Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to repair and assemble equipment.
• Proficiency in computer-based machine software navigation and interpretation.
• Strong emphasis on safety compliance, maintaining a safety-first approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the
• Ability to interact at all levels within the organization.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in PLC, AC/DC, Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
• Previous 2-4 years of vocational and/or maintenance technician experience.
• Technical degree from an accredited institution.
• Independent, proactive working style, adept at managing multiple projects in a high-demand environment.
• Comfortable with precision hand movements when operating machinery.
• Experience operating hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials safely.
• Normal color perception and eyesight correctable to 20/20.
• Must pass a drug test and criminal background check.
