Position Type:Permanent Full Time/Part Time:Full Time

Open Until Filled.

$17.21 to $18.93 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area/Merritt Island.Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Performs experienced service work operating light automotive vehicles or equipment and performing routine automotive service and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:Six (6) months of experience operating and maintaining light automotive vehicles and/or equipmentusedto maintain drainage systems. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.Experience operating a heavy-duty vacuum truck with high-pressure water to clean pipes and basinsis preferred.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, avalid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. This is heavy physical work that involves exposure to dirt, dust, noise, fumes and odors, water, construction debris, insects, working in and around moving traffic and machinery, and extreme weather conditions.In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
