PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Contract Administrator role is integral to the successful management of field contracts within an assigned construction project, utilizing Worley's AVEVA CRM system. The purpose of this role is to ensure the effective implementation, administration, and support of contract processes aligned with Worley's site procedures. Reporting to the project Subcontract Manager, this position plays a key role in driving the seamless execution of contracts, supporting overall project success, and contributing to Worley's goal of delivering sustainable energy solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CRM System Implementation and Management:



  • Oversee the application and maintenance of the AVEVA CRM system at the project level.
  • Collaborate closely with the project Contracts Manager to customize CRM functionalities, ensuring they meet project-specific requirements.
  • Provide frontline system support, troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions with global support teams.
  • Ensure the CRM system integrates effectively with other project systems and workflows to drive project efficiency.


Contract Administration Support:



  • Assist the project Contracts Manager in the management of construction contracts throughout the post-award phase.
  • Organize and support contractor kick-off meetings, preparing and distributing meeting minutes and ensuring all relevant documentation is tracked.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations, handling correspondence and maintaining key registers, such as securities and site instructions.
  • Facilitate timely submission of contractual deliverables and address contractor queries or compensation requests.
  • Chair contractor progress meetings, documenting discussions and outcomes, and ensure clear communication of project status.
  • Support contract performance evaluations and assist in close-out activities, ensuring contract files are maintained and compliant with organizational standards.

Education and Expertise:



  • A degree or qualification in a contracts or related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration within the Industrial Construction industry, with a focus on large-scale, complex projects.
  • Proven experience in commercial and contract practices, with a strong understanding of project-specific financial and contractual drivers.


Professional Knowledge and Competencies:



  • Proficient in modern contract administration practices, with familiarity in dispute resolution methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working in a construction environment, managing field contract activities.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail in tracking and maintaining contract compliance.
