The Clinical Program (PsyD) at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University in New York City seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology. We are a vibrant and collegial faculty whose mission is to train highly effective, professional, and knowledgeable scholar-practitioners who are committed to life-long learning in clinical psychology. The program is unique in its structure, providing a shared foundation of common principles and relational competencies as well as specialization tracks in both CBT and Psychodynamic approaches. Trainees have opportunities in a variety of contexts with diverse populations through our Parnes Clinic as well as through partnerships with NYC externship sites. The position will begin in Fall, 2025. The call is open and candidates in all areas of clinical psychology will be considered. Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology is located on Yeshiva University's Resnick Campus in the Bronx, approximately 7 miles north of Manhattan, New York. Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology offers three APA-accredited doctoral programs: Clinical Psy.D., School-Clinical-Child Psy.D., and Clinical Ph.D. with health emphasis, a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling, a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Master of Arts in Special Education. The Max and Celia Parnes Family Psychological and Psychoeducational Services Clinic is the training center of the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and offers low-cost, state-of-the-art mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in the Bronx and the Greater New York City area, especially those who cannot otherwise afford or access these services within the community.
