Machine Operator III-MX8100

JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join the G+D team as a MX8100 Operator. This role involves handling sensitive materials and operating complex machinery for the production of high-security items. second level position and requires knowledge of processes and equipment throughout the work area assigned. The MX8100 Operator can perform tasks such as file loading, loading and unloading of machine, and detailed inspection of card order. The MX8100 operator will also maintain the quality standard necessary for the next operation. Job Duties:
  • Prepares cards for loading into the /MX8100 machine
  • Load cards into and start the /MX8100 machine
  • Run the /MX8100 machine
  • Unload the /MX8100 machine
  • Inspect cards, verify order, and pack
  • Make ticket transactions for production and completes all paperwork
  • Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
Accountabilities:
  • Reports to the shift Supervisor and receives direction from the Supervisor or Shift Lead
  • Start-up of the machine at the beginning of shift
  • Responsible for quality of finished work on the shift
  • Follows established safety and environmental compliance
  • Accountable for meeting the daily throughput of the machine
  • Responsible for general daily maintenance of the work area
  • Cleaning of work area at the beginning and end of shift
  • Shutting down the machine at the end of shift
Job Specifications:
  • Exposure to shop noise
  • Required to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to operate mechanical machinery
  • Physically able to bend, lift, and stand over long periods of time
  • Flexibility on schedule (must be able to work overtime and on weekends on an as needed basis)
  • Ability to look at work being produced in high-speed environment for extended periods of time
  • Adheres to MasterCard and Visa association security standards
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good attendance habits
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Ability to comprehend written work instructions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Safety conscious with a good understanding of general safety requirements
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, scanner.
