Job Brief:

Influences a cross-functional team in optimization of application capabilities & business processes. Provide Business Analysis and Project/Product support for the development, enhancement, quality assessment, and on-going support of the relevant lines of business (LOBs). The role will utilize industry trends to influence requirements for new application features and enhancements that are consistent with strategic priorities. Capture requirements for a highly complex system and/or multiple systems across multiple stakeholders; understands and applies the SDLC to the execution of deliverables. Advises on security, risk management, and IT process principles and escalate to appropriate team(s) as needed. Partners effectively with security and risk teams to ensure tech portfolio changes adhere to standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and document complex workflows.
  • Effectively communicate with their Business and Technology Peers.
  • Facilitate and drive meetings across various levels of technology and business.
  • Explain technology functionality/limitations to LOB during sessions ensuring the LOB is in step with what is possible.
  • Decompose high level business functional, and non-functional requirements into detailed technical requirements and update during all phase of application life cycle.
  • Document traceability between requirements testing and LOB sign off.
  • Understand how requirements will impact the applications that supported.
  • Able to understand, at a high level, network infrastructure and various integration points for supported applications.
  • Learn quickly and become a subject matter expert on assigned applications.
  • Understand how the requirements will be tested and review test cases.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with continuously shifting priorities.
  • Focus on prioritized work without being distracted.
  • Adhere to deadlines.
  • Support off-hours testing and releases when required.
  • Drive assigned work to completion.
  • Identify and escalate risks.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a self-managed team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years in Business Analyst role or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advance level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite and Jira/Confluence/Kanban.
  • Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis.
  • Ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working as part of an Agile/Scrum Team.
  • Familiarity with Key's Community Bank Technology Stack.
  • Experience working in heavily integrated environments.
  • Hands-on technical experience working with coding, scripting, database queries etc.

Key has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee workspaces, dedicating space to those whose roles require specific workspaces, while providing flexible options for roles which are less dependent on assigned workspaces and can be performed effectively in a mobile environment. As a result, this role may be mobile or home based, which means you may work either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
