PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position will manage and support strategic projects as well as day-to-day operations for the Office of Faculty Affairs. Under the strategic direction of the Senior Vice Provost/Vice Dean, Faculty Affairs, the Asst Dir will dentify opportunities for enhanced collaboration, communication, programming, and process improvement throughout Thomas Jefferson University. In addition, the Project Manager will independently develop projects and programs necessary to advance the departmentrsquo;s mission. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. OTHER FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Bachelorrsquo;s Degree required, Masters preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 5 years related experience, preferably in higher education. Previous project management and strategic planning experience strongly preferred. ________________________________________________________________________ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Computer proficiency for MS Office Suite. Highly effective verbal and written communication and relationship building skills. Ability to work independently and multi-task. Demonstrate strong collaborative and problem solving abilities. Ability to interact in a professional manner and relate well to a diverse workplace. Ability to think creatively, juggle multiple priorities, and manage tight deadlines.
