We need passionate and engaged individuals to help us build a team that can lead EQ to the same success in the US that it has had in the rest of the world. The Securities Services Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of share and cash reconciling tasks.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Review, research, and balance share and cash activities daily
  • Report out exceptions and escalations as appropriate to operation teams daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Work with operations teams to resolve exception items as appropriate
  • Ensure the department's work is completed on time and accurately by planning and coordinating the daily tasks with other team members in the team
  • Works under minimal supervision following established procedures and exercises some judgement within guidelines to complete tasks
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy despite complex tasks and periods of high volume
  • Understands the basics of reconciling: Importance of documentation, the escalation policy, not refreshing dates on reopened items, etc.

Education Requirements

  • High School

Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in on or a combination of the following: customer service, operations, financial services, accounting, business processing, analytical, financial, clerical, or call center.

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in an operational environment
  • Prior Transfer Agent or Securities Industries experience
  • Intermediate to advance Microsoft Office skills
  • Accounting skills highly desirable
  • Prior reconciling/balancing experiences
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working in a fast pace, high volume environment

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 hourly
