Their work has put the university in the top echelon of institutions receiving National Institutes of Health grants for vision research. Your Role on the Team The Comprehensive Ophthalmology position is a staff physician position within the Department of Ophthalmology located at UCI Health. The primary clinical site will be at our Brea satellite office, with some coverage at Irvine and Orange facilities. This staff physician position does not have a teaching or research requirements. The Comprehensive Ophthalmology position focuses on the delivery of eye care to the level of expertise of the physician with the referral of cases to tertiary care subspecialty ophthalmologists as appropriate.
