Responsibilities
Support technical investigation and exploration of emerging technologies by providing the following activities:
- Establish and maintain partnerships among technology providers, other ITS contractors, and ITS leadership to facilitate investigations of emerging technologies that could fill existing gaps, meet existing needs, or reduce the lifecycle costs of an existing IT system or service
- Identify, assess, evaluate, and measure COTS and GOTS emerging technologies and best practices that could be integrated into Sponsor IT implementation, development, or O&M to improve end-products and meet enterprise business needs
- Engage with Academia, Industry, and Government stakeholder organizations to assess critical technology advancements to innovate and modernize the Sponsor's IT enterprise, presenting Sponsor's Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with appropriate recommendations
- Maintain awareness of new and relevant technologies through investigation of products from the IC; industry; InQTel; the State Department Visit Information Office (SVIO); Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA); Defense Advanced Research Projects Activity (DARPA); as well as products from Colleges and Universities
- Support interactions with the IC; Department of Defense (DoD); Other US Government Agencies (OGAs); commercial research and development entities; and related organizations for the purposes of applying these technologies to the Sponsor
Qualifications
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2, or HS 8-10
- Strong analytical abilities and skills in organizing, planning, communicating, and executing project management tasks
- Demonstrated good judgment, initiative, and critical thinking ability to take action to execute mission by leveraging networks and drawing on multiple areas of expertise
- Ability to support multiple programs and projects simultaneously
- Ability to translate technical information and communicate it to a non-technical audience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with strong initiative and follow through
- Expert level skills with Microsoft Office products
