The Director of Supply Chain will lead and optimize the company's supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive process improvements, and enhance overall supply chain performance, continuously optimizing the supply chain end to end process and, leverages the Global PCI network in order to drive high customer service levels, contribute to profitability improvements, support business growth and promote a continuous improvement mindset. The scope encompasses the activities of Demand/Capacity Management, Planning Long and Short Term, Procurement, Inventory Management, Transportation, Sales Order Management, Rolling Sales Forecast Management, Master Data Management and the Warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and optimize a supply chain network with multiple regional and international manufacturing sites, suppliers and customers.
  • Drive S&OP cycle with an integrated end-to-end business process and a transversal management of activities.
  • Ensure each supply chain area performs as required
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance to effectively support business growth and profitability improvements.
  • Work with Technical Operations and Quality teams to support strategic industrial projects and customer projects
  • Analyze and improve existing supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management and distribution.
  • Define, track and report on key performance indicators (KPI's) related to supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Drive operation excellence with a continuous improvement mindset. Promote a cross-function, cross-region, cross-division approach (and cross-segment approach when relevant). Identify, share, develop and implement best practices for business and system processes. Manages monthly team deliverables and ensures objectives are being met.
  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance measures are met.
  • Prepare the annual Supply Chain objectives consistent with PCI's organizational goals.
  • Establish organization structure by recruiting, training, guiding, defining new roles, assigning responsibilities and delegating authority. Schedule and hold performance reviews for direct reports. Manage and mentor supply chain staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
  • Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.
  • Performs job duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily performed at a desk and/or in an office environment. for 3/4 of the day and up.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bacheor's Degree in a related field and/or 7-10 years related experience and/or training.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing ERP systems for supply chain management, solid understanding of how to leverage ERP functionalities to enhance supply chain efficiency and decision making.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, requiring adaptability and innovative thinking.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with suppliers and visit operational sites.

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree (M.A.) in related field and/or 5+ years related experience or training.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Ability to display a willingness to make decisions.
