Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking an Epidemiologist I to assist in the conduct and analysis of academic research projects. This is the first level in a series of five. This position will be in support of the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The epidemiologist in this position will primarily work on studies of the Environmental Determinants of Cancer among members of the US Military. These studies involve the assessment of Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) and other exposures from pre-diagnostic serum samples. The serum biomarkers will be analyzed in conjunction with measures of genomic, proteomic and possibly metabolomic profiles to assess susceptibility and risk of development of various cancers. This position offers ad hoc telework at the discretion of the supervisor. Otherwise it will be onsite at Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD. Responsibilities
