Overview: Responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to meet objectives in quality, reliability, safety, cost and on time delivery. The Controls Technician ensures the proper operation of measuring and controlling equipment by completing preventative and predictive maintenance and repairs to a wide range of process control, monitoring and safety equipment as directed by supervisory personnel. The Controls Technician must be able to interact with operations personnel, working in teams and without direct supervision to troubleshoot electronic/electrical problems and conduct repairs using work orders, diagrams, sketches, operator's manuals, manufacturer's instructions and engineering specifications.
