As Sr. Project Engineer, you will be responsible for effectively managing change, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring critical control parameters are built into the site standard work and quality critical attributes are continuously monitored.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following...

  • Lead review and response to GSK's Global Engineering Standards and Policies and EHS Standards.
  • Lead Safety Projects.
  • Manage Engineering Alerts.
  • Maintain pilot plant compliance with GSK's Global Engineering Standards and Policies and EHS Standards by working with SMEs to assess and close gaps.
  • Lead Safety Projects in the pilot plants including design, cost, implementation, and resource management.
  • Ensure pilot plant Engineering Alerts are addressed and implemented to meet established timelines.
  • Perform walkthroughs of pilot plants to ensure the facility is 'ready now' at all times for safety audits.
  • Work with Engineers / EHS from other GSK sites and departments to learn and establish best practices to address gaps and Engineering Alerts.
  • Coordinate R&D implementation plans for new / updated standards.
Why you? Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Minimum 5 years working in a pharmaceutical plant, or equivalent.
  • BS is engineering or science related field.
Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • In depth working knowledge of the pharmaceutical process and the safety and compliance requirements for equipment and systems used in it.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
