Summary: This position is responsible for the duties and operation in the areas of warehouse and inventory control management, receipt of goods from suppliers, shipment of supplies, samples and commercial product. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Interaction: Primary reporting is to the Supervisor or Manager of Supply Operations. Interacts extensively with staff in most departments within the company. Coordinates the sampling and release of raw materials with QA. This person will have significant interaction regarding deliveries, scheduling with Manufacturing and interacting with freight carriers. Education and Experience:

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, move between spaces, reach with hands and arms and stoop/squat. Close vision and the need to focus on a computer screen, use of hands, fingers and wrist to type on a keyboard and manipulate a mouse is necessary (approximately 25% of workday). The position requires daily physical movement for extended periods of time (no less than 75% of workday) in order to move, ship, stage, stock, receive and deliver materials. Movement includes walking, standing, bending, twisting, turning, pushing, pulling, lifting, gripping, grasping, reaching and carrying. Daily physical movement includes pushing and pulling pallets of moderate to heavy weight using equipment, moving boxes weighing up to 60 pounds, operating pallet jacks, forklifts and driving company vehicles. The employee will need to enter and work in inventory storage areas including walk-in refrigerators and freezers. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Typical warehouse setting with workstation in an open warehouse style area. Employee is required to work in the warehouse, shipping and receiving areas where frequent opening of the door for deliveries occurs. Required to wear gowning in specific areas. Must wear protective gloves, safety glasses and safety shoes. Noise level is moderate to high with consistent truck deliveries, material handling equipment, printer, telephone ringing and conversation. Benefits:
The base pay range for this role in California is $21.15 per hour to $29.09 per hour. This role is classified as non-exempt and eligible for over-time.
The range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. The range considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: geographic markets, business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications.
