The Role:

Chromalox, a part of Electric Thermal Solutions within
the Spirax Group, is a global leader in advanced thermal technologies. We
provide innovative solutions for industrial heating applications, ensuring
efficiency, reliability, and sustainability

The Operations Accountant will play a critical role in
supporting the financial planning and analysis functions at Chromalox. This
position will report directly to the Operations Finance Partner and will be
responsible for providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and
reporting to drive strategic decision-making.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Std Cost Updates: Manage Std Cost updates, including annual cost roll & maintenance of Bill of Materials (BOM) & Routing data to ensure accurate cost tracking and inventory valuation.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets & quarterly forecast financial plans.
  • Inventory Management: Support senior management with detailed information & analysis, to help manage inventory levels, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Inventory Reporting: Prepare and present reports to senior management, including inventory capitalized variances, obsolescence & cycle count accuracy & completeness.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis on large projects, including variance and profitability analysis.
  • Data Management: Maintain and improve financial data and databases to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Procurement: Support procurement with analytical reporting to ensure cost-effective purchasing and supply chain efficiency.
  • Productivity: Analyze and improve productivity metrics across various Supply sites.
  • Analytical Acumen: Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures & support any audit requests as required.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by the Supply Finance Partner.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a commercially focused financial role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
