Material Driver

Danfoss in Louisville, KY has an opening for a Material Driver. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm.

• Load and Unload material to be transported onto Flatbed Truck. This will be done from dock position and from ground position
• Drive loaded material between our 4 sites
• Assist material handlers or Coordinators in gathering and preparing material for transportation.
• Work with other Coordinators / Departments to ensure proper flow .
• Assist other areas of production when and where required by supervisor/manager.
• Report all Production issues or delays to Manager daily
• Maintain, monitor and foster an environment of good housekeeping
• Maintain, monitor and foster an environment of safety in the work place.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

• Ability to carry out all required processes with minimum supervision.
• Understanding of types of components used in production and ability to tell the difference between items
• Demonstrated ability to work safely
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical
• Must be able to drive Manual Flatbed Truck
• Material Handler Certified (Preferred)
