About the role

As a key member of the Stamps.com Customer Support team, the Support Advisor is responsible for providing world-class customer service and technical support. Whether it be supporting our customers or frontline agents with troubleshooting the software, identifying bugs or assisting customers with business specific workflows our team always brings their best to ensure our customers are very satisfied. Given the relationships we build and are responsible for, it is imperative that our team members become e-commerce shipping experts and beyond.

This role is remote in the Austin Metropolitan Area.

About the Team

The Stamps Support Advisor team's purpose is to provide support for frontline tech agents and resolve any escalated issues which cannot be resolved by the frontline tech teams. The team provides Stamps.com customers with exceptional service and technical expertise in shipping, logistics, software and hardware. The team assists in identifying bug related issues and directing them to the appropriate team for further investigation.

What will you be doing?



  • Be an expert in all things shipping within the Stamps Ecosystem.
  • Assist Stamps.com support staff with resolving customer interactions.
  • Identify and escalate cases that need more extensive troubleshooting, code changes or other developer support by using a standard escalation process.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to communicate trending issues and product suggestions internally.
  • Meet the department's Key Performance Indicators to help provide an exceptional customer experience.


What are we looking for?



  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical certifications or degrees are a plus.
  • One or more (1+) year's customer service experience, preferably in a technical role.
  • High degree of professionalism, a "customer first" approach and be service-oriented, friendly and possess a positive attitude.
  • Experience in customer de-escalation is a plus.
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and ability to work in an independent, efficient and effective manner in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
