Senior Supplier Engineering and Technology - Factory Support

The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer role is part of the Supplier Engineering and Technology (SET) group. In this role you are the primary contact to support factory escalation from Lam Factories to drive immediate containment & resolution plan to prevent disruption to manufacturing and/or tool shipment.

Supplier Engineering and Technology strives to exceed Customer's production and technology requirements by accelerating the development, manufacture, and delivery of quality products through Lam's Global Supply Chain.

• Work proactively with Lam manufacturing (Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering & Operations) to resolve critical part quality problems.
• Drive immediate containment plan and investigation for critical quality escalations (supplier related).
• Act as technical lead or bridge between Lam Manufacturing and SET,and Supply Chain, to communicate status and plan for resolutions and recovery.

• Bachelor's degree inMechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Eight (8) years of experience in a similar role; with experience in the semiconductor industry
• Experience with failure analysis and problem-solving tools and methodologies
• Work with cross-functional teams across multiple departments to achieve goals
• Demonstrated knowledge of semiconductor equipment and manufacturing processes
• Exhibit attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
