Individuals may enter expressions of interest by submitting their credentials to any posting for which they are qualified to teach. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Screening of individuals in the pool is ongoing, depending on curricular need and funding. Individuals will be contacted by the department if they reach the finalist stage for teaching a particular course or set of courses. The pool will remain in place until the closing date specified in the posting details; those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must resubmit. All individuals in the pool will be notified by email when the posting is closed. Required Qualifications: Required Qualifications Include: An earned doctorate in Educational Leadership or a closely related field A minimum of four years of experience as an accredited licensed principal or superintendent in elementary, middle, or secondary schools ISBE licensure/certification (or equivalent from another state) to evaluate instructional PK-12 Principal Endorsement or General Administrative Endorsement candidates A proven track record of excellence in teaching at the higher education level, including in-person, online, and hybrid modalities. Eligible to teach administrative internship classes A portfolio of scholarly publications or a clear trajectory for future research and publications Preferred Qualifications: A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education The ability to engage students in critical discussions about challenges and opportunities at all levels of education Innovative approaches to teaching and research in educational leadership The ability to advise graduate and/or doctoral candidates' research projects, theses, capstones, and/or dissertations.
