Overview We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the Litigation Data Analysis unit (LDA) within the Litigation Department (about 350 employees). LDA provides data analytics to measure the performance of the Litigation Department - both staff counsel (in-house) and panel counsel (external), and guide decision making around capacity expansion, etc. LDA is a small team, currently comprising a Director and a Manager. The candidate will report to the Manager. The candidate will have a strong professional data analytics background, having demonstrated the ability to work with very large datasets in multiple environments and solve complex data problems. The candidate must be able to work independently while being an exceptional team player. Additionally, the candidate must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, communicate succinctly and clearly, and engage effectively with both other units within the Litigation Department (e.g., Litigation Technology Solutions and Litigation staff Counsel Offices), and the broader AmTrust organization (e.g., Claims Department). Responsibilities Reporting
Prepare regular scheduled reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
Data integrity
Ad-hoc and Support at the Direction of LDA Management
Qualifications
The salary range for this role is $78,000/yr-$85,000/yr. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics.
