Pay: $60,000 - $64,500 per year Shift: Monday - Friday, 2nd Shift As a Tooling Technician, you will support the stamping department by ensuring all stamping tooling is maintained in ready state. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting issues with stamped parts production, training with a stamping toolmaker on building new tooling, and documenting tooling changes. You will apply your technical training and machine process knowledge to determine tool requirements and fabricate and assemble parts. Responsibilities also include adjusting machine operations to ensure quality, identifying and resolving process issues, and assisting with die maintenance, preventative maintenance, and machine troubleshooting. You will work with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to perform tasks, as well as collaborate with engineering, quality control, production, and suppliers to resolve issues related to defective parts. Qualifications: Experience with die work/operations and troubleshooting stamped parts production Ability to set up machinery using shop math and trigonometry Proficiency with Tig/Mig welding and handwork on flat and contoured surfaces Experience with maintenance and repair of production equipment, including drill presses, lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and follow both verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision Flexible availability for overtime and weekends as required Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Our partner company can provide you with the vital benefits that you deserve.
