You'll play a vital role in fostering partnerships with community colleges, developing articulation agreements, and ensuring that our recruitment efforts are inclusive, strategic, and aligned with UCR's mission. The position is grant-funded for 2 years, with a possibility of renewal based on funding. What You Will Do: Build Partnerships and Agreements: Collaborate with community colleges to develop and strengthen articulation agreements, making the transfer process smooth and straightforward for incoming students. Strategic Recruitment: Drive outreach initiatives to attract diverse, talented students, engaging with high schools, community colleges, and outreach programs like MESA to strengthen the pipeline for future engineers. Support Prospective Students: Provide comprehensive guidance on admissions, academic preparedness, and career opportunities, ensuring that students feel supported every step of the way. Collaborate for Success: Work closely with internal teams, including the Dean's Office, faculty, and academic advisors, to ensure unified communication and support for newly admitted students. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, compliance with all applicable University policies and collective bargaining agreements is required. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. | |
