Position Overview


Primary Purpose of Position
This position will serve as the liaison between the Agricultural Research Department and the University's State' s motor fleet service, Federal Excess Property Program, Facilities, Environmental Health and Safety Unit, Physical Plant, Property Management, Campus Mail, Campus Enterprises, Aggie One, Police Department, University IT, and Systel for coordinating maintenance repairs/services, removal/transfer of university assets, mail/package deliveries, IT related issues and other CH Moore building emergencies.
The Program Coordinator provides consultation, specialized expertise, and program/project administration for the extensive facilities, property, and equipment used by the Agricultural Research Program, CAES research labs, and the University Farm. The research program in the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences is growing; CAES now has more than 20 research labs and the Agricultural Research Program owns/manages a fleet of more than 20 vehicles.
A primary focus of the position is the management of Ag Research fleet, keep the track of lab facilities, keep the record of lab instruments/equipment of all the CAES labs, manage and maintain an updated inventory listing of property (used in offices, labs, and the University Farm) purchased with Ag Research funds, serve as the property officer and screener for the Federal Excess Property Program in obtaining equipment, supplies and vehicles from the federal government for use by the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, and serve as the building manager/representative for the CH Moore Agricultural Research Station

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
