What you'll gain:

As a
Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and
experience in the field through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects. A
few learning opportunities include:

Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Lean Manufacturing: Applying lean manufacturing principles to optimize production workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.

Equipment Optimization: Assisting in the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Quality Control: Conducting tests and inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

Data Analysis: Analyzing production data to identify trends, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including design, supply chain, and quality assurance, to support product development and manufacturing operations.

Project Management: Participating in project planning and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

What you need to be successful:

Education:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship
Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0

Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Basic project management or organizational skills.

Personal Attributes:
Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part
of a team.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.

Availability:
Willingness to commit to the internship duration, typically 10-12
weeks for a summer internship.
Ability to work in the location where the internship is offered.
