Description
The CNPA Quality Improvement Program Manager will lead the Children's National Pediatricians & Associates' (CNPA) Population Health and Quality outcomes activities related to implementation and evaluation of key division quality initiatives; data management and reporting; electronic health record optimization; and maintenance of patient-centered medical home accreditations. The CNPA Quality Improvement Program Manager will support CNPA teams in development of systems and data design to ensure teams can meet clinical, programmatic, and project goals and deliverables. Will work with the Medical Director, Director of Clinical Operations, and related teams to: (1) coordinate clinical and business process redesign and review activities across CNPA; (2) make policy & procedure design and modification recommendations; (3) participate in committees to address process and policy issues across CNPA; and (4) identify and escalate issues as appropriate; (5) oversight of end user training for Quality initiatives. Management and coordination of programs and projects associated with quality improvements across CNPA, inclusive of regulatory programs such as PCMH, Meaningful Use, and third-party payer quality programs. (6) collaboration with the Pediatric Health Network (PHN) on quality and payer initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree (Required) Master's Degree in Public Health or Health Services Administration (Preferred) Minimum Work Experience 5 years years experience working in a pediatric healthcare environment (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. Proficiency with electronic health records and data extraction, analysis, and reporting. Robust Understanding or certification in LEAN Six Sigma. Functional Accountabilities Project Management
