Responsibilities
Summary The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for assisting management with supervising clinical team (Licensed Professional Counselors, Provisional Professional Counselors, Case Managers) monitoring all client files, and providing clinical training of staff. The Clinical Supervisor will assist the clinical team with coordinating treatment and discharge planning. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- The Clinical Supervisor provides direct supervision to Substance Abuse Counselors, Case Managers and other clinical and program staff in charge of delivering developmentally appropriate inmate treatment.
- Oversees inmate services and ensures compliance with established program standards, measurements and outcomes and other service delivery objectives.
- Provides clinical supervision to counselors as required by policy and state regulation.
- Audits inmate program records.
- Assists the Program Director in interviewing, selecting, evaluating, scheduling and disciplining program staff.
- The Clinical Supervisor counsels inmates regarding community vocational, educational and employment programs and facility job prospects. Oversees the compilation and analysis of data and program participation reporting functions.
- Provides orientation and training of program staff. Ensures training documentation is properly recorded and communicated.
- Interprets and enforces policies and procedures and initiates corrective action plans as necessary.
- Assumes an inmate caseload in response to work load or staffing shortages.
- Maintain all internal and external standards, policies and procedures.
- Leads and participates in staff meetings, seminars and workshops to improve and develop program.
- Provide agenda and meeting documentation and follow up, as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Master's Level in psychology or related field.
- Certification as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
- Wyoming Designated Qualified Clinical Supervisor or able to obtain the qualification within sixty (60) days of hire.
- Experience with working in a Therapeutic Treatment Program and/or experience working with inpatient substance abuse treatment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Commitment to philosophy of recovery and continuity of the program and of consideration and respect clients.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
