First (Days) (United States of America) Sentara Health is hiring for a Practice Manager III for Sentara Endocrinology and Rheumatology Specialists in Norfolk, VA!

Status: Full-Time,permanent position (40 hours)

Standard working hours: 8 am to 5 pm EST, M-F

Location: On site. Will report daily at Sentara Endocrinology and Rheumatology Specialists, located at 844 Kempsville Rd Ste 103B, Norfolk, VA 23502.

Job responsibilities:

  • The Practice Manager III partners with clinical leadership in dyad model to ensure the efficient and effective operations of one or more clinics/practices with 25 or more staff members and/or complexity operations score 3 for hospital or office based specialties.

  • Provides overall supervision of staff and oversight of all aspects of operations including customer service, budget, risk management, and compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations, and standards of care.

  • Accountable for personally monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, quality, patient experience, and team member performance.

  • Will manage a team of 35 FTEs + 10 providers including 1 Asst Manager and 1 RN Manager shared with another Practice Manager

Required qualifications:

  • 7 years Practice Manager experience is acceptable in lieu of bachelor's degree

  • Supervisory- 3 years REQUIRED

  • Healthcare- 3 years REQUIRED

Preferred qualifications:

  • Clinical experience and leadership experience in ambulatory care environment preferred.

  • Master's degree preferred.

  • Endocrinology or Rheumatology experience is a plus.
