Production Worker- Howmet

Position Purpose:

To aid in the manufacturing of goods in an assembly line and/or individually. Assembles or disassembles component pieces of a variety of items manufactured or de-manufactured. Organizes and assures high quality and high quantity work. Operates and maintains equipment used in the performance of work in a safe manner and according to instructions.

Primary Duties:

* Assembling products and parts

* Following production guidelines and specifications

* Finalize and package products for shipment

* Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment

* Monitor the assembly line and remove faulty products

* Work on the production line to meet production targets

* Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met

* Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure production quotas and deadlines are met

* Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality

* Conduct inspections and quality control of products

* Assist with lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads

* Assembles and disassembles items at established rates

* Maintain a clean work area and equipment

* Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management

* Follow all written and verbal instructions provided by supervisor

* Monitors materials flowing through the production process

* Must remain current on all safety and production trainings

* Promote a positive and professional environment

* Communicates appropriately
