Position: HR Specialist Company: Pacific Manufacturing Tennessee Location: Jackson, TN Reports to: HR Manager Status: Exempt Primary Responsibility: To support the HR Department; to support the employees; to support other departments as needed. Essential Functions: (includes but not limited) Coordinates all staffing agency (temps) activities including time and attendance for payroll submission, missed punches for time and attendance, terminations, orientations, new temps data entry, and other miscellaneous communication. Enters new temps into the Paycor system Coordinates setting up interviews for full-time candidates with the appropriate Pacific Manufacturing department leadership. Creation and administration of offer letter, background application, and drug screen process. Completion and mailing of separation notices to termed full-time employees. Enters new hires (PMT) into the Paycor system Achieves good working knowledge of the Paycor system to do back-up functions in HR Assists employees with questions, issues, etc Back-up as a badge maker Assists in employment enrichment activities Any duties as needed Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma or GED 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources preferably in manufacturing recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, time and attendance High level of professionalism Excellent people skills High level of confidentiality Excellent computer skills Excellent attendance Physical Requirements Ability to work in an office environment with frequent interruptions and noise, 8 hours minimum of staring at computer, sitting at desk Ability to stand in front of new temps for orientation Ability to speak in front of new hires and leadership Ability to work 12 hour shifts as needed Ability to stand, stoop, bend, twist as needed for up to 12 hours Ability to lift up to 35 lbs if needed
