Description

The Used Truck Sales Executive (UTSE) is a part of a small, elite dedicated sales team within JX who are held to specific standards of excellence in retailing used trucks. The UTSE will report to the Used Truck Manager. The UTSE is accountable for developing existing customers and generating new accounts, increasing used truck sales while maintaining a high level of customer service to build JX's reputation as the industry leader in heavy and medium duty used truck sales.

Earning potential: $85,000 - $125,000/year (Unlimited Commission Program and Volume Bonuses; initial base salary is between $40k - $50k/year, based on experience)

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Ability to self-generate prospective customers/business opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Ability to identify and engage prospective customers by developing strategies to grow relationships.
  • Accountable to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Contacting prospective customers and assigned accounts utilizing various methods; making calls, visiting a business, social media, texting or email.
  • Utilize CRM system to document and maximize results.
  • Proper completion of all paperwork associated with a truck sales transaction; including writing sales orders, securing deposits and processing paperwork in accordance with established dealer policies.
  • Collaborate with our internal finance companies to assist in obtaining customer financing.
  • Maintain current knowledge of truck specifications, actively participate in product, market and sales training.
  • The UTSE is accountable for the used inventory lot appearance at their domiciled location to drive continuity of the JX Used Truck Standard.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelor degree preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of selling/closing experience
  • Excellent communicator, possess a positive, can-do attitude
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Intermediate computer skills including experience with Google Enterprise platform, internet, social media platforms and digital technology to research and connect with potential buyers.
  • Mechanical understanding enough to learn specifications of complex, customizable equipment.
  • Business to Business sales experience
  • Valid driver's license required
  • CDL required, or willingness and ability to obtain.
